Pastor Dan's Bio

Pastor Dan Walker brings a unique skill-set to pastoral ministry at Full Life. He received a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and worked at Monsanto in St Louis as a research chemist and consultant for twenty years. After God called him to the ministry, he went back to school and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis. Dan brings a thorough understanding of the corporate work world, along with a rigorous theological training to the ministry.

Dan became a believer as a child and has been involved in ministry for his whole life, including extensive experience in leading small group Bible studies. He has a widely varied church background that allows him to move in Spirit-led ministry to people from different denominations. He is ordained with the Assemblies of God, one of the largest Spirit-filled fellowships in the world.

Dan and his wife Carol launched Full Life Church as a response to the great lack of contemporary Spirit-filled churches in the St Louis area with practical, biblically accurate teaching. Other unique features of Full Life are it's focus on ministry balanced in the areas of fellowship, discipleship, ministry, outreach and worship. Dan's vision is to aggresively reach out to the large population of unchurched people in the St Louis area utilizing every available means and particularly the internet. The result is that Full Life has grown from a handful to a vibrant congregation of believers composed of many people who were previously unchurched. His larger vision is to see Full Life increasingly impact a wider portion of the St Louis metro area and eventually launch satellite churches across the area.

Dan's ministry style is practical, accurate biblical teaching that is illustrated with sophisticated multimedia presentations, often incorporating video. Message outlines and study question guides are available for individuals and small groups to further pursue the application of the message topics to life. Worship is Spirit-filled and contemporary, engaging the whole person. He pursues ministry with the goal to effect life-change in people through the power of God.

Dan has been married to his wife and ministry partner, Carol, for 14 years and they have seven children ranging in age from 3 through 12.
